Born from a vision to create something truly local, Nativ Tiles is the first collection of cement tiles designed and made in Mauritius.

After more than a year of research, development, and collaboration with passionate partners, we have created a formulation and manufacturing process entirely adapted to our island. But beyond materials and design, Nativ carries a deeper story.

In partnership with CDL and the Mauritius Prison Service, the production of Nativ Tiles takes place inside the Petit Verger Prison. This initiative was born from a shared belief — that creation can be a powerful force for change.

By setting up this workshop within the prison, our goal is not only to produce beautiful, durable tiles, but also to offer meaningful work, transferable skills, and hope for social reintegration.

Every tile is made by hand — a process that leaves the subtle trace of human effort, growth, and purpose.

Each piece tells a story of craftsmanship, resilience, and renewal.
